GROCERY CARDS –still available at the Parish Office during the COVID-19 emergency. Profits to end of 2020 = $9300.00 (despite the pandemic!!)

          • we are respectful of social distancing,

          • the door handles into the office area are sanitized before and after someone comes in.

          • you can purchase yours with cheque, Debit, Mastercard, or Visa

          • the debit / credit card machine is sanitized carefully after each use

          • Office hours are:

                • Mon. –Thurs. 8 am - 2 pm

                • Fri. 9 am - 1 pm

Cards can be used as follows:

          • Co-op ( 9% profit to St. Mary's),

          • NoFrills/Superstore (5% profit),

          • Safeway/Sobeys (5% profit),

          • Save On Foods (6% profit).

          • AND DID YOU KNOW? The St. Mary's GROCERY CARDS can also be used for BUYING YOUR GAS!!! (Exception is the Safeway/Sobey's card).

        • CANCELLED . . . DURING 10 AM MASS ON SUNDAY, FOR OUR CHILDREN: SUNDAY CIRCLE: for ages 3-5 years. Children's Liturgy of the Word is a lectionary based program, offered during the Sunday Morning Mass. The children are dismissed from Mass near the beginning and return during the Preparation of Gifts. Involves story telling, singing songs, and a craft activity.

        • CANCELLED . . . CHILDREN'S LITURGY: for ages 6-8 years. Children in Kindergarten to Grade 2 are invited to participate. The Liturgy of the Word is celebrated using age-appropriate readings bringing the Word of God closer to the children's understanding level.

        • CANCELLED . . . FAMILY FUN NIGHTS: Stay for pizza and fellowship the second Saturday of each month at 6 pm, following Saturday evening Mass. Info

        • RCIA (still operational) is the church's way of bringing new adult members into the Catholic Church. Meeting weekly on Thursday evenings at 7:15 pm, instruction is provided in our Catholic faith. Contact Linda Michaud.

        • RCIA for children, 7 years and older (still operational) who have not been baptized. RCIA for Children meets weekly. Contact Linda Michaud.

        • BAPTISM PREP CLASS: - organized and taught by Deacon Ron Fortier and his wife, Sandra Fortier. NOTE: before parents have their first child baptized at St Mary's, they must take a Baptism Prep Class, and are welcome to attend the class with all children they are having baptized. Godparents are welcome to attend, too. Please pre-register so we know how many to prepare for! Phone the Parish Office: 403-932-2944.   • STILL AVAILABLE: PRAYER CHAIN: This ministry consists of a group of people who say a special prayer of their choice each day for the prayer chain intentions and especially at the time that they receive a new request. Each new intention is emailed out to the group as I get them. We currently have 88 ‘pray-ers’ but there’s always room for many more. If you wish to be added to our list of ‘pray-ers’ or if you just want to add a prayer request onto the prayer chain, please email Linda Nicol.
