First Communion Prep Team
Volunteers in this ministry help with two meetings, which are held about 3 months apart.
They also phone candidates to remind them about these two meetings.
The first meeting 
introduces the preparation required for candidates and their parents. The second meeting about 3 months later, is a week-night retreat for candidates and their parents prior to the actual celebration of the sacrament. St. Mary's First Communion Prep Team provides the support necessary for the two get-togethers but all leadership and materials are provided by personnel from the Diocese of Calgary.
